How to make Chocolate Cake Shot Recipes?
- Prepare Time: 15 minutes
- Cooking Time: 4 hours and 8 minutes
- Serves: 4
- Difficulty level: Easy
- 12 oz. cake
- 2 cups chocolate syrup
- 1/2 cup chocolate chips
- 1 shot glass
- 2 oz. whipped cream
- 1 chocolate syrup drizzle
First, prepare a 9×13-inch baking pan by greasing it with butter and lining it with parchment paper.
Secondly, line the bottom of a 9-inch cake pan with parchment paper and melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl.
Thirdly, combine the cake mix and water in another bowl. Add some oil and stir it well so that it is adequately mixed. Then pour this into the cake pan.
When this is done, use the parchment paper to help lift the cake and place it into the baking pan.
Fourth, add the chocolate syrup over the top of this and then spread it evenly over the cake.
Fifth, cover the cake with foil and put it in a preheated oven to bake for four hours.
Sixth, check if your cake is ready by inserting a toothpick or knife into it. It is done when you can pull out some of the crumbs from it.
Once it is done, let the cake cool in its pan for 15 minutes.
Next, add the chocolate chips to the mixture that you mixed earlier. Add syrup to it and stir on low heat for about one minute. Add more chips if you want them melted evenly. Then pour this over top of your cake and pour extra chocolate syrup on top of it.
Once this is done, let your shot cool before adding a shot glass and layering some whipped cream over top of it.
Then drizzle chocolate syrup on top of it and serve it.
You can store this chocolate cake shot in the refrigerator for up to two weeks without worrying about it getting ruined. Just do not freeze this.
